Let's go through the Book of Revelation...
My new project will launch in December. Help me make it happen!
This newsletter is free, but it’s only able to sustain itself due to the support I receive from a small percentage of regular readers. Would you please consider becoming one of those supporters? You can use the button below to subscribe to Substack or use my usual Patreon page!
I recently took a break after Deuteronomy because, if I keep going indefinitely, it will take about 20 more years to finish… But that doesn’t mean I’m done with the entire project.
I now plan to cover the Book of Revelation, the final book of the Bible, over the course of 22 weeks. This is the book that involves the Mark of the Beast, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the details about Jesus' return, trumpets, the Whore of Babylon, a dragon, the number seven (a lot), tons of eyeballs, and so much more. It's one of the most essential books of the Bible when it comes to understanding many conservative Christians' outlook on the world.
In order to make this happen, I plan to do a lot of writing and researching to make sure I'm including as much useful information as possible. I want to make videos good enough that even devout Christians can watch them and say, "Yeah, your commentary got that right. You're going to Hell, but at least you covered the important stuff."
I will also be working with a video editor to make sure these come out on time and look decent.
To that end, I recently launched a Kickstarter to fund the project.
If you're already a Substack subscriber at the $150/year level or higher, you're going to get a shout-out in the credits after each video (if you want it), but if you're not, you can donate for this project only and I'll be sure to thank you after each video as well. (If you give more, you will get everything from a handwritten thank you note to a signed book.)
The series will launch in December and it'll run for about 5 months after that.
Can't wait to show you what the Bible actually says!
