Are Olympic athletes expected to sing? It's been a few years since I watched the Olympics, at least the award parts where they play the anthem, and I don't really remember. I do know that when they play the anthem to open a football game very few of the athletes are mouthing the words and I can often see some of them mouthing the wrong words. Many a game I went to did not have everyone in the stands singing along (it's been even longer though). Often times people can't sing along when the artist puts their own 'spin' on the song. Our national anthem is not a song that anyone CAN sing as evidenced by the multitude of times it was botched, badly. Just Google "National anthem fails". Rosanne was not the only one and the first page is loaded with lists of fails of OUR national anthem. (Yea, I know that Google probably biases my search from my IP but still).

Like they intentionally only used two players on the USA team because their hair is short and somehow that means the team isn’t real women. And the rest of the USA team has a bunch of women with long ponytails, besides hair does not make women women or feminine.
