A religion being deceitful and teaching children to lie.

And that's why it's not persecution, as much as they will claim. The religious affiliation of the group is irrelevant. Of course, they 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 disclose that information. But telling people that their donation is helping a child when it's really paying for a young adult's plane ticket and hotel stay is a long way from truth in advertising.

I would bet that Christians, Muslims, and atheists in this country would have no real issues donating to an Orthodox Jewish organization that was 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 helping needy children.
