So the takeaway here is that Christian’s can break the law and any penalty is anti-christian bias. This is indeed the worst timeline.

Yup.

Just like how Israel can commit war crimes and any complaints is anti-semitism.

It still tickles me that a Christian school is named after a significant geological formation that is far, FAR older than Christians believe the earth to be.

Too many Christians believe the Grand Canyon is proof of Noah's Flood, and no amount of pesky scientific evidence will convince them otherwise.

OwossoHarpist's avatar

Not even convincing them that there's only one Grand Canyon in this world and nowhere else. If Noah's Flood did occurred according to the creationists, there would've been more than one Grand Canyons found all over the earth. But no such event happened!

Actually, that’s not entirely true. There is the Colcha canyon in Peru, and Waimea Canyon in Hawaii. The latter has often been called the “the Grand Canyon of the Pacific’.

American Christianity is an entrepreneurial business. I would argue that the religion always has been, since the days Paul shopped his message around to find a market and Theodosius declared that the ignorant made the best recruits. Now "god" is just a marketing ploy to get brand loyalty.

Never do business with a religious SOB. His word ain't worth a #$*) -- not with the Good Lord telling him how to !@#& you on the deal. - William S. Burroughs*

Clearly, Mr. Burroughs knew exactly what he was talking about. GCU will continue deceiving the public for the purpose of scamming money out of unsuspecting students trying to better themselves, which at this point certainly appears to be The Christian Way. Why I ever would put up with people like this? I have enough problems in life without this sort of cruelty and sadism.

My only question here, outside of maybe how much GCU greased Donnie Dumb-ass' palm to get this result, is who is in whose pocket? Is GCU in Donnie's pocket or is Donnie in the pocket of the Religious Reich?

Pardon me if I say that this question is in no way rhetorical.

So far, both sides find it profitable to get along without pointing out the other side’s faults. The day has not yet arrived when one side will find it more profitable to backstab the other side than to continue the status quo.

There was Otto the goat who floated around on the tippling philosopher And one or 2 other places in that era. He was always good for a laugh. And there was that weird guy – I don't know if he'd be regarded as a troll but he was an extremist catholic, to the point where people on the catholic blog sites were begging for him to be banned. He wasn't good for a laugh.
