The overwhelming majority of those people were kind, generous, family and community oriented people looking for a better life away from the tyranny in their home countries. Before that I worked in a multinational telecommunications company with many Muslim colleagues. I would vouch for each and every one of them as a better friend and neighbour than any MAGAt you can name.
One of my favourite hobbies is touring by bicycle. I also follow (mostly on YouTube) others who travel the world by bicycle. Every single one of them has nothing but praise for the selfless, kind hospitality they experience while travelling through Muslim countries. One of the countries praised the most for their generous hospitality and kindness is Iran. I expect most Americans learning that would say, "Go figure."
