• A rural Tennessee mayor accepts “[The virus] is science and it’s true and I do believe masking helps prevent the spread of it,” yet won't implement a mask mandate until God responds to his prayers on the matter and tells him it’s okay to do so. (Allegedly. The reporting isn’t solid on this.)
  
  If I had to guess, God won’t be returning that call— God’s will always seems to look a lot like the will of the people who claim to talk to Him.

  Right-wing pastor and ardent conspiracy theorist Rodney Howard-Browne says the COVID vaccine is a satanic plot to change your DNA and "remove the God factor out of people so they won't feel God."

  

• Preacher Mark T. Barclay is angry because the voting machines Trump claims are rigged against him are manufactured by Dominion Voting Systems, and “dominion” is a Christian word.

  “They’re stealing Christianity and everything important that’s us. It’s called Anti-Christ. They steal Christmas from us. It turns into Santa Claus and flying reindeer, etc. They steal Easter from us and it’s a bunny with eggs… and this word ‘dominion.’ That’s our word. That’s a Bible word. It’s almost like, how dare you even use it in this context?”

  Is anyone going to tell him how many holidays he just stole from the Pagans in that statement?

• Judah 1 is a new airline launching next year that specifically caters to Christian missionaries. Passengers still have to pay for their flight, but bags are free. So far this sounds a lot like Southwest, but with a greater chance of being peed on mid-flight.

• Right-wing pundit and anti-Semite Rick Wiles ends a threatening video by telling the FBI to “put my name down on the list,” and we truly hope they follow his command. Wiles didn’t mince words after voicing support for the Florida governor’s bill allowing citizens to shoot and kill looters and rioters.

  “The left, you better pack up and flee. If you’re part of this communist revolution, lefties, you better get out of the country. If we find out you’re part of the communist revolution, we’re coming after you.”

  Wiles talks a big game, but it’s hard to imagine this milquetoast fancy boy out on the street picking a fight. The mouth breathers he’s trying to mobilize, however, give us reason to be concerned about his rhetoric.

• Uh... I know it's the Daily Mail and all... but hackers say they've taken over the servers of Kenneth Copeland Ministries and will release sensitive files if they don't get a ransom.
  
  This is disturbing and unethical and awful and I can’t say I wouldn’t be interested in these files…

• Focus on the Family founder James Dobson begins his latest newsletter by grieving the election results and calling Trump’s time in office a gift of “spiritual reprieve” from God. It’s astounding that were still reporting on this sentiment from conservative Christians. You either wash Jesus’ feet or you lick Trump’s boots— you can’t have it both ways!
