Christians fight hard to violate Matthew 6:5-6. Far, FAR harder than they do to keep predators in their ranks away from children. They sure as hell don't put a consistent effort into feeding, clothing and housing the poor. But if they even PERCEIVE any attempt to prevent them from praying in public, out come the fangs and claws.
They think that the only command Jesus gave them was to "share the gospel". They interpret that to mean force everyone to be just like them, by any means necessary. Help the poor? That's (gasp) 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮 doncha know!
Or 4,000: or 5,000 and 4,000 or 4,000 not counting women and children, because..... or was it merely symbolic or a parable?
Matthew 15:35 ff And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. 38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
Matthew 16:7 ff. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? 9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Mark 8:5 ff And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. 6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. 7 And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. 8 So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. 9 And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away…..
Mark 8:19 ff When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve. 20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
I have stopped more than a few times at our local PP clinic to ask these 'protestors' how many unwanted children they have adopted. I get dead silence or the standard 'I will pray for you', never an actual answer.
America hates women and wants them to endlessly suffer and be punished. Christians want…NEED people (especially women) to suffer just like they do. They are resentful weak human beings that hate their lives.
I’m pretty sure that hate speech is legal, but threats are not (even though this is hard to prosecute and very rarely is). Most folks who work at abortion clinics fear for their lives
Just look at the current trial, Lindsey Clancy. They never bothered to actually investigate the crime, they took Patrick’s word for everything, they are antagonizing her in the courtroom. Outside of the actual investigation, men (mostly) are calling for us to repeal the 19th amendment because women are being sympathetic to Lindsey since it is clear she was failed by the medical system, which is known for failing women for decades, and calling for women to just lose access to their children at birth because postpartum is so dangerous. (You know those men won’t actually care for the children during that time, so what’s the plan guys.). Just the fact that women have been ignored by healthcare in general is out of malice and laziness, and money that was earmarked to change this has been taken away by Trump and his cronies, is more evidence. Using abortion as a wedge issue when they lost the segregation battle is evidence that they don’t see women as human, in the same way they don’t see people of color as human. We women have lived centuries, millennia really, in a state of malicious antagonism and oppression by religions. This hatred crosses borders, it ignores race, it ignores every sort of category.
I just had my third core needle breast biopsy (no cancer thankfully). I’m extra spicy after being painfully clamped down (not allowed to move an inch) for over an hour going in and out of an MRI machine, awake through the entire thing, only local anesthesia that sometimes doesn’t work, and told to take some Tylenol for the pain after! Medieval psychological torture! Absolutely Lindsey Clancy and every other woman everywhere all the time 💯. Was there a blood moon last night?
Women were not meant to do the childbirth thing alone. It takes a village they say…it’s a trial of pure cruelty and humiliation.
The evangelical crowd cries persecution anytime their expectation of privilege is thwarted. No group would be quicker to persecute others if given the chance. They thrive on persecution, real and imaginary as it reinforces their biases and bigotry.
Liars for Jesus lying. Again. And we all know why.
I can't wait for the headline where one of these rubes gets mad when the cop on scene just stands there while they shout "Arrest me! I'm praying here!"
They aren’t lying though, not really because they know their prayers are not peaceful and they use the prayer cover to get in the way of the clinic. They are admitting that they are not protected by the first amendment because they know they’re being physically aggressive with their prayers.
““Prayer is not a crime. Holding a sign is not intimidation. Offering a woman help is not coercion,” “
Prayer is still not a crime, but that’s not what they do. Holding a sign certainly can be intimidation, if it weren’t then all the peaceful protests using signs would never have been effective. But simply holding signs is not at all what they do. Offering a woman help can be coercion, and we know damned well that is not what they do. The “help” they offer is coals to Newcastle. A pack of diapers and a onesie will not keep these women and girls out of poverty or protect their health and life. They have never and will never offer anything of substance that might actually ease the woman’s concerns. That would be socialism or she deserves some consequences for being a slutty slut slut or both.
These groups know that their prayers are intimidation (at the least) and they can’t get what they want if they are forced to stand out of the way and pray.
"Consequences." Whenever I try to engage with them and point out things like bodily autonomy and consent, they try to counter with "She consented to pregnancy when she consented to sex." When I counter with "What about rape, where she did NOT consent to the sex?", it's either crickets or "that's rare so it doesn't count." They fail to see the hypocrisy. That's also why they think it's ok to physically block the sidewalk. That's why they think it's ok to humiliate teenagers going in by calling the "murderers". That's why they want arrests to happen to the one guy who shows up with a sign reading "Planned Parenthood saves lives."
Every accusation a confession. How many times have they labeled peaceful counter protesters as "violent" or "intimidating" or even "terrorists"? They seem to really believe that we plan to treat them exactly the way they want to treat us. Hey MAGA forced birthers! We don't care about your yelling and screaming. Pray for us all you want. If you stop yelling when you need help and ask us, we will help you. We will not punish you for your views. We are not the monsters.
PS: These sickos are even more brazen in states where abortion is legal. There is extra pent up anger and a need to control. Even with the FACE Act (which this administration has basically dismantled) clinics on city sidewalks cannot prevent these lunatics from getting right up in your face, almost touching you, or blocking a door. A city sidewalk is public property. Abortion services should have never been separated from general hospital care. Mistake number 1 and it’s a big one.
I wonder if they ever consider that standing there peacefully and holding a sign that says, “I’ll pray with you, no matter your choice” might actually be more effective than the dramatics. But these Christian’s have never been truly interested in saving babies, as we know from their attitudes towards them and their mothers after they’re born. It’s just about virtue signaling in the loudest way possible and nurturing their hate instead of love.

The savior they claim to follow allegedly fed 5,000 people for free.
Damn pinko!
Their gospel claims he fed 5,000 people with some bread and fish. It never claimed he didn't charge them.
Jesus's Fish N Chips, the original fast food joint. Only ten shekels for the combo platter!
Don't ask about the tartar sauce.

If your hobby is standing around outside of medical facilities that do nothing to harm you, you really need to reevaluate your life choices.
I have stopped more than a few times at our local PP clinic to ask these 'protestors' how many unwanted children they have adopted. I get dead silence or the standard 'I will pray for you', never an actual answer.
Why would they answer a real question? That would require engaging with reality, something they don't want to do.
Most won't even make eye contact or acknowledge that I am addressing them. Pathetic creatures.
But-but-but ... they're killing BABIES in there! (say the people who worship the biggest abortionist in all of Earth's history!).
I’m going to go off for a sec.
America hates women and wants them to endlessly suffer and be punished. Christians want…NEED people (especially women) to suffer just like they do. They are resentful weak human beings that hate their lives.

Every
Single
Day
that they go to work.
Enough is enough!
I’m an atheist, but God bless these healthcare workers and escorts out there risking their lives. Holy shit!
Xtians are all FOR hate speech. But if someone were to give them a dose of their own medicine, listen to them scream in outrage.
So weak and pathetic
“America hates women…”

Christians are no longer permitted to prey¹ at abortion clinics.
¹ Not a typo.
I see what you did there! 😎

Nobody lies as much as bible banging Xtians!
A religion built on lies.
"Because they’re conservative Christians who aren’t interested in facts."
Just like creationists who are one and the same with all other Conservative Christians out there.
Facts are poison to them. You might as well expect Superman to hold a piece of Kryptonite in his hand and be okay with it.
> "can easily be labeled ‘intimidation’ by someone who claims to feel threatened"
Ok, so you know that your tactics are intimidating. What do you, as a good Christian, do about it?
A. Say "Oops, sorry about that. Let me move way over there and get out of your way."
B. Shout louder, put more people in the way on the sidewalk, wave more signs, and triple down on the intimidation.
And of course, the answer should be A but instead it's more likely to be B. And they're proud of it. 😠
Maybe Jersey should pass a law saying it's cool to run over protesters blocking access to public spaces. Pro-life conservatives love those laws.

There is nothing that xtians won't lie about in their quest to intimidate and harass others.
27 out of 50 states still have the death penalty on their books (NJ is a member of the 23 that don't).
I wanna ask these so-called "pro-lifers" in the 27 why they're not a constant presence outside prisons where inmates are put to death.
Or how they can be ammosexuals and still claim to be pro-life.
