The Arizona State Senate candidate said women shouldn’t vote or hold office. She thought she was the exception to the rule. Then came the Blue Tsunami.
She was so confident that the seat belonged to her that she didn't even campaign. Look where it got her. All her opponent had to do was point out how badly Republicans are screwing things up, no need to attack Biggs, a candidate who was effectively not there. The only reason she got as many votes as she did was the Republican faithful voting for hate.
Republicans in ruby red districts were lazy campaigners. Ken Paxton vacationed in Iceland and Europe with his girlfriend after he won the primary. James Talarico beat him in Texas so badly his vote total for early votes was higher than Paxton's total vote!
Roger Marshall thought he would coast in Kansas and realized too late it was going to be a tight race. And Trump came here TWICE!!
She thought the seat was hers because she's a Republican in a very Republican district. Turns out a whole lot of people actually paid attention to who is screwing things up.
I've never understood this logic. Why wouldn't 'nurturers' be good leaders? Why would people who can singlehandedly run a household not be good at running a government?
Nurturing strikes me as being a form of service. That said, someone who is a natural nurturer would strike me is also being someone who would be excellent at serving the public in general.
The very fact that women have been serving in public office for considerable period of time and successfully so makes a lie of Mylie's attitude.
What an idiot. Mylie doesn’t understand whether you choose to stay home or work a 9-5, this world wasn’t made (designed) for us. It’s painful to see how many White women in the USA are indoctrinated to hate themselves.
I don't object to her lifestyle choices so much as I do her willingness to impose her choices on others. It sounds like she got way more respect than she deserved.
This is the real hypocrisy. She runs for office while expecting everyone else of her sex to not run for office. The gall that she has in pushing this point of view to my mind is extraordinary.
The level of irony and hypocrisy represented by Mylie Biggs is very nearly unequaled in my experience. That she has the utter temerity to say at once that there are good women in office and yet women should not run for office tells me that she either has a considerable internal conflict about the entire issue of women's serving or she doesn't know what she's talking about.
Not too surprisingly, Arizona voters seem to have caught on to her foolishness and decided they really don't want her representing them. Good for them.
I believe that Mylie is a victim of a certain kind of incestuous abuse that affects how they understand the world. I hope somehow she can be surrounded by functional loving people, and get some healing.
I just want to note that even White women who claim, “you can have it all” who are CEOs AND have children are still offloading their childcare to Brown and Black women (nannies). Such a joke.
The careful design of the “nuclear family” and propaganda surrounding it is all for capitalism. Making the machine more efficient is the goal. In the end, we (all genders) are getting screwed within this system, but it’s these White women who continue to hold the line that are particularly worrisome. The indoctrination has to be stopped at its source. I hope to see access to good education become just as important of a topic as healthcare in the coming years.
She now gets her wish to be a wife and stay home.

Mylie's not the sharpest bulb in the shed. How she manages to feed and dress herself without serious injury is a miracle.
No doubt she thinks that atheists are unfit to run for office. A turnip is better qualifed to run for office than she is.
It was God's Will, Mylie.
(My lie? Oh my)
Well, she was partially correct - that particular woman should not run for nor hold office. 🙂
The fact this race was so close with a candidate of her quality is absurd
Some Republicans will vote for a rock if there's an "R" next to the name.
Rock starts with an 'R'.

And not all women are naturing at all! I’ve worked with them. Lies.
Make it make sense. Whatever you think of her, Nancy Pelosi ran an insanely organized and effective House (just one example).
What an idiot. Mylie doesn’t understand whether you choose to stay home or work a 9-5, this world wasn’t made (designed) for us. It’s painful to see how many White women in the USA are indoctrinated to hate themselves.
I find it strange that almost half of the voters still voted for a no-show.
I don't object to her lifestyle choices so much as I do her willingness to impose her choices on others. It sounds like she got way more respect than she deserved.

Internalized misogyny. Anyone can be a misogynist (women, gay men etc…)
To borrow a phrase from The Man From UNCLE, "Freud would have a picnic!"
a) Internal conflict
b) Doesn't know what she's talking about
c) Both

Meds might help, too.
Getting shut of the Mormon Church would help even more, in my humble opinion.
