Miss North Carolina USA said she lost her crown due to her faith. Then the racist posts surfaced.

Back in June, Brittany Boltinhouse was named Miss North Carolina USA and slated to represent her state in the Miss USA pageant taking place later this month.

But this week, she was stripped of her title due to, as she puts it, “my political stance and my belief system as a conservative Christian woman.”
Wow! Was she punished for going to a church? For praying privately? For voting for a Republican? For feeding the hungry?!
Whenever people claim to be discriminated against because they’re conservative Christians—technically a Mormon, in this case—you can assume they’re full of shit and lying because their parents and their faith never taught them to be honest in moments like these. Plus, the beauty pageant world has always been stacked with religious conservatives. So the real question is: What did she actually do?
Miss USA’s President and CEO, Thom Brodeur, also issued a statement, saying that the organization “does not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia nor language that strips any person of their dignity.”
Brodeur goes on to say that their decision was not based on a single moment; rather, it “reflected conduct over an extended period of time.”
We’re getting closer. They didn’t mention religion or politics because, of course, that doesn’t matter in this situation and Boltinhouse lied when she suggested those things had anything to do with her punishment. But what the hell did she say?!
The NC Beat has a possible answer—and a screenshot to back it up. Bear in mind Boltinhouse is Latina/Honduran and not Black.
Under the handle Sosa the Stallion (linked to her earlier identity as Sosa B Alondra), Boltinhouse posted a series of tweets between 2017 and 2019 that leave little room for interpretation.
In one December 2019 post she wrote: “N*gga I’m toxic asf…i dont care lol”
Other posts from the same account include:
“this n*gga has me 50 shades of fucked up…” (April 2017)
“if my n*gga don’t like you i don’t like you .” (March 2017)
“your girl don’t like me but yo n*gga doesssss” (February 2017)
“not yo n*gga” (April 2017)
A lengthy post accusing another woman’s “WCW” of “flashing random n*ggas and letting em take shots off her all spring break while u was at home working being loyal.”
Somehow, Jesus didn’t make an appearance in those tweets. Neither did the Mormon Church.
Beyond that, while she’s entitled to her political views, she claimed that voting for Kamala Harris would lead to America becoming a “Third World country.”
Since her racism was exposed, Boltinhouse hasn’t attempted to defend anything she said—or even acknowledge that she said them. She says she was a teenager who “made a mistake” but won’t say out loud what exactly the mistake was. Instead, she’s just demanding a second chance:
“I hope they see me as an example to always stand for what you believe, no matter what, no matter where,” she said. “I hope the conservative women, God fearing women — even if you’re not conservative, I speak to the women that are not conservative too — that you have the right to speak the way that you feel, no matter what platform, no matter what belief system, that you have that right; and that’s beautiful.”
Ah, yes. Young women, rest assured that you can always use derogatory language on social media and then just yell “Jesus” repeatedly if anyone ever calls you out on it.
There are also other unverified allegations of bad behavior floating around, but the old posts seem more than enough to disqualify her.
On Saturday morning, the organizers of the pageant clarified to The News & Observer that Boltinhouse’s faith and political views had nothing to do with why she lost her tiara:
In a Saturday morning statement to The N&O, A Blaize Productions, the license holder for Miss North Carolina USA, denied that the decision to strip Boltinhouse of the title was based on her “political views, religious beliefs, or protected personal viewpoints.
“The decision followed a careful review of the totality of information that came to our attention, including previously undisclosed conduct and public content spanning multiple years that was inconsistent with the standards and responsibilities expected of a Miss North Carolina USA titleholder under the agreements governing the position,” A Blaize Productions wrote.
So even the organizers are shutting down her lies.
It sound like Boltinhouse assumed there would be no consequences for her racism, and the moment things finally hit the fan, she did what conservatives always do: Pretend to be persecuted because of her faith. None of which made any sense in this situation.
But at least she’s made one thing clear: Being a conservative Christian woman and being racist are the same damn thing. She must have learned that from the holy books she’s never bothered to read.

Those ‘conservative Christians’ of which she speaks are very quick to claim persecution anytime they face blow-back for their views. Evidently, they are the only people entitled to an opinion. I list Mormonism under the heading, ‘Some people will believe anything.’
