Right Wing Watch @RightWingWatchSri Lankan writer Shakthika Sathkumara, who was temporarily jailed nearly two years ago for insulting Buddhism, is finally able to walk free. Back in 2019, Sathkumara published a short story to Facebook which vaguely portrayed a homosexual relationship between monks and insinuated a Buddha-like character “was unable to please a woman,” which violated both the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights Act and the Sri Lankan Penal Code. Thankfully, his case was dropped today.
