It has been demonstrated again and again there is no link between vaccines and autism. The reason there seems to be more autism today isn’t because of vaccines, it’s because our ability to diagnose the condition had improved dramatically.
The same faulty logic is applied to trans people It's not an ideological "woke-virus" explosion. It's the ready availability of quality treatment for an insufferable condition. Banning the treatment doesn't eliminate the condition. Of course, eugenics has always been in their wheelhouse. They will come after all neurodivergent folks next for not producing up to capitalistic standards.

This is a good thing. Maybe some Catholics will wake up to the inevitability of the Christian Nationalist Party forcing their stunted beliefs on everyone. "Everyone" including any Christian groups that don't toe their party line. Catholics could look the other way when they were just picking on Muslims or Hindus, but now, as was the CNP plan all along, (See Project 2025 and 2026) they are going after folks they were temporarily allied with.
(Most members of) the Queer community figured this out long ago. It's easy for example, to get the LGBs to throw trans people under the bus because, in some minds that makes the rest of the Queer community safe. Nope. Only for a few months or a year, and then they come after you too. Look how quickly they are coming after gay marriage now; they barely took a breath.
I hope Christians of all stripes will hear the wake-up call and realize that they are next. The Christian Nationalist Party will only be satisfied when they have their Evangelical CNP version of Sharia law governing America in all respects. Florida and a bunch of other states will soon look just like Iraq or Afghanistan. You can see the resemblance forming already.
So I'm thinking there may be some weird irony in this. Like Hemant, I disagree with the whole voucher concept. However, IF a private school accepts government money, I do think it should have to abide by State (and Federal, if there are any) regulations that apply to it's public schools. Same curriculum standards. Same teacher accreditation requirements. Same health and safety rules, same safety inspections, same disability access requirements. Etc.
But now this may actually work against common sense here, because it's Florida. And if their state school laws insist that non-vaccinated children must be allowed into public schools, well, then it seems to me that by accepting the State's money, the RCC should abide by those rules.
But that's just in theory. In practice, conservatives are utterly inconsistent and hypocritical about this. They won't enforce curriculum consistency, or accreditation, or disability requirements, or basically any similar regulation on private schools. Except this one. I hope whatever judge hears the case points this out: you can't have it both ways. Either you regulate voucher schools, or you don't. You can't regulate them for one policy you like and deregulate them for a raft of much more important policies you don't like.
Anything to score culture war points. Government isn't even about governing anymore. It's about enticing enough voters to keep you in power. Politicians checked out of actual governance decades ago.
