Without intending to, fools like this make very compelling cases for atheism.

Some guy at CP is trying to ruffle my feathers with grade school level taunts and I observed that he wasn’t doing his religion any favors.

He can call himself a pastor all he wants, but Fatstein has neither formal seminary training nor official ordination. Which means his has no actual physical congration. This makes him (surprise surprise) a yuge liar who is simply preaching online to the gullible.

An anti-science/anti-evolution MAGA who was heavily involved in the shenanigans of Jan 6. He spoke at a pre-insurrection rally in DC the day before, echoing Trump's lies about the "stolen" election and declaring (quote) "It is time for war!" That got him a visit from and investigation by the FBI.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

One wonders just how many preachers these days, online and behind pulpits, have no formal education in the field and are themselves self-ordained. I'll bet the number is CONSIDERABLE.

Bensnewlogin's avatar

Even the ones with a ‘formal education’ are uneducated.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

Considering that he thinks the world is 6000 years old and evolution is a hoax, he is MIS-educated!

Or just plain dum.

Say what? I left out a b? There's no b in dum. No, I didn't look in no dictionary.

Well shit. There is a b in dumb. Who knew?

Obviously, this Feuerstein guy fits perfectly into the second category of people identified by C.S. Lewis: “God uses the good people; the bad people use God.” But, then, what else could or should we expect from anyone voluntarily in Trump’s circle, other than evil?

Yup. Definitely gay.

Hey Josh: if it's the end times, why so you need massive wealth? According to your theology, it is likely to be later this afternoon when God tells Gabriel to put that horn to his lips and blow. Then all your people get taken directly to heaven and out of here, right? Besides haven't you read your bible? Silly me, of course not. Here is a bit from your Lord and Savior about collecting all the cash:

Matthew 6:19-21

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Unless you will admit publicly that it is all about gaining wealth and power, and nothing to do with your religious beliefs.

Bensnewlogin's avatar

Or EVERYTHING to do with hus religious beliefs.

“I believe I’ll have some of your money.”

Hey, Joshie...

Your Jesus wasn't a 7-figure businessman, was he? So you wouldn't even bother appealing to him, would you?

7-figure businessmen might not make it to your gated community in the sky. Especially if those businessmen did nothing to feed, clothe and house the poor. THOSE guys can expect a one-way ticket to the hot place.

Does Fuckstick eat the food at any of Trump's properties? Amazed he isn't it the hospital

Troublesh00ter's avatar

The guy flies first-class and stays at the Ritz, so he can eat Big Macs and chocolate shakes with Donnie Dumbass, and the only way he resembles Trump is pound-for-pound.

NOGODZ20's avatar

This is the guy who used an ableist slur on Facebook just this past July (one presumes the R word). He wanted to insult Democrat voters. So what did he do? He compared those voters to the intellligence of his daughter...who has Down's Syndrome! He slimed his own child to make an infantile remark.

Needless to say, there was fierce backlash over his stupidity.

He has to because where he wants to go is a major hotbed for mostly male prostitution and sex.

My brothers and sisters, do not claim the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory while showing partiality. For if a person with gold rings and in fine clothes comes into your assembly, and if a poor person in dirty clothes also comes in, and if you take notice of the one wearing the fine clothes and say, “Have a seat here in a good place, please,” while to the one who is poor you say, “Stand there,” or, “Sit by my footstool,” have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters. Has not God chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and to be heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him? But you have dishonored the poor person. Is it not the rich who oppress you? Is it not they who drag you into the courts? Is it not they who blaspheme the excellent name that was invoked over you?

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well. But if you show partiality, you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

Come now, you rich people, weep and wail for the miseries that are coming to you. Your riches have rotted, and your clothes are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you, and it will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure during the last days. Listen! The wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on the earth in luxury and in pleasure; you have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered the righteous one, who does not resist you.

What this smells like (and it DOES smell!) is a little dog trying to pretend that 1) he's a BIG DOG and 2) trying to create a scenario where he can be seen running with the big dogs. All the Ritz-Carlton hotels, first-class plane tickets and over-the-top spending are just part of the "look" Feuerstein wants to create for himself, so that he can be in with the in-crowd.

Ummm ... Josh? It ain't workin'!

Here's an idea for Joshua F. If he wants to actually spread the message that Jesus actually taught, and be effective at it, go to a Soup Kitchen and serve the poorest of the poor with no ulterior motive. See someone living on the street, feed them with no ulterior motive. Do the things that Jesus did. Feuerstein won't do any of that because he is a typical grifter, and he won't get any recognition.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

"No ulterior motive?!?" That ... that ... that's UN-CHRISTIAN!!!

NOGODZ20's avatar

His savior told his followers not to practice their righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If he does what Jesus told his followers not to do, he’ll get no brownie points by Jesus’ pops in the afterlife.

NOGODZ20's avatar

Well, Matthew 6:1 in this case. But yeah. :)

Troublesh00ter's avatar

Hell, that's Standard Operating Procedure for Feuerstein and his kind.

NOGODZ20's avatar

Two years ago, this charlatan ran for a seat in the Texas HoR (District 4). Even with the endorsement of Ken "The Evil One" Paxton, Feuerstein was thoroughly whupped by the incumbent Keith Bell. It wasn't even close. 75% for Bell to 25% for Feuerstein.

Like the orange guy he pals around with, Feuerstein's a loser.
