Christian Activist Wants Groups of Protesters to Enter Businesses Without Masks

This misunderstanding of science runs deep and wide, as we now see in the reported distrust of the COVID vaccine. Only about 60% of Americans say they plan on getting one, according to Pew. Conservative circles have long been rampant with disinformation, so it’s the conservative media outlets and church pastors that health officials are now reaching out to, hoping to encourage more people to get the shot.
If Jesus couldn’t even convince a Christian to take the vaccine, those health officials certainly have their work cut out for them.
Here’s a dubious claim from Lt. Governor of Virginia E.W. Jackson: Planes won’t crash if there’s a praying Christian aboard.
We have yet to hear a flight attendant announce, “In the event of an emergency, put your hands together and pray.”
“Pro-life” Christians are still winning.
Humanists International has released its annual “Freedom of Thought Report,” which is basically a heat map of discrimination and persecution against atheists around the world. The U.S. ranks 24th.

Right-wing activist Dave Daubenmire said that he is planning on “organizing groups” to defy COVID restrictions and enter businesses, without masks, in large groups.
Dare them to call the police. Let them arrest all 20 of you and then DEMAND a jury trial. Folks…they are not enforcing laws…they are enforcing ILLEGAL orders. Do not do it alone. Do it as a group. Overwhelm the system. Put a stop to this foolishness.
