"Noah didn't take 37 genders of animals. He took just two..."

And in at least a couple of depictions, Noah took 2 male lions. Oops.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

I want to see dear ol' Bobby confronted by a seasoned feminist. The dip would melt like ice cream in a blast furnace!

NOGODZ20's avatar

I'd like to see him square off with Maine's Favorite Son Stephen King, enemy of Republicans and a man who was raised in a family of women.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

I'd sign up for that in a minute! Oh, and apparently, one of my comments is among the "Hidden!" I mean, good grief, Agnes!

NOGODZ20's avatar

I saw it and upvoted it after it went into hiding.

Tinker's avatar

Oh, then that's why it popped down there. You upvoted it!

NOGODZ20's avatar

I upvoted it AFTER the popping, :)

Joe King's avatar

I managed to give my upvote before it got sent to the naughty corner.

Tinker's avatar

I'm guessing it's a certain four letter word that the Christians are afraid of.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

Meh. Yet another nanny-bot that NONE of us need, yet substack decided it was going to foist it on us. 😝

Kathlyn's avatar

Is it me, or has the app been really crappy since the last update? I can’t interact with half the stuff I look at, and it regularly crashes

Tinker's avatar

Interesting though that it took a few minutes to pop down there. I thought your response had been deleted.

"Transgender people don't exist," Booby? It's your god that doesn't exist.

Joe King's avatar

He probably thinks that transgender people are all men pretending to be women in order to harm little girls. And it wouldn't surprise me if his twisted ideology has him jealous that he doesn't have that access to little girls.

Jennifer's avatar

If I had 30 minutes with this clown: I promise you, Mr. myth book believer, transgender people do exist. And as usual, you have NO CLUE what we have to go through to be ourselves. Hours upon hours of OUR lives spent with medical professionals, both physical and mental. The pain of operations and treatments to live up to insane beauty standards so as to not be beaten or unalived by human trash like you. Your fantasy about men waking up one day and putting on a dress to get with little girls is misguided. You're actually thinking of catholic priests there. And protestant pastors and youth pastors don't bother with the dresses, they are free to groom children in their care with little to no oversight from parents because they love jesus so they must be trustworthy. Right up until they aren't. So stick your ignorance where the sun doesn't shine and stop trying to force your insane beliefs on people who don't care for them.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

I would pay real money to see a woman light him up!

30 seconds ago this was in the hidden list and I was in the middle of typing a reply when it suddenly disappeared from the hidden list and my partial response was eliminated. Very strange.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

I wrote Hemant about it. Man took ACTION! 😁

NOGODZ20's avatar

Now you have another post that’s been put into witness protection. Naughty boy. :)

Troublesh00ter's avatar

Oh, for pete's sake! This is past ridiculous!

wreck's avatar

"You spend half an hour with me"

Yeah, no. I'd rather abort myself.

oraxx's avatar

The absurdity of this mans delusional thinking is bad enough, but like a lot of theists he expects to be deferred to. The sad thing being, no amount of factual evidence is going to change his mind. He’s operating in Ken Ham territory. As long as a significant share of humanity continues to see faith as a virtue, the long-term survival of our species is doubtful.

Stephen Brady's avatar

An authoritarian white christian male spewing his crap that women only exist as the chattel of men and it is mens' job to tell them what they can do with their bodies. He is also simplistically explaining away the way various peoples' brains are wired with Bronze Age claptrap to just be the 'way god made you.'

Bobby, those two statements contradict each other. I can provide examples.

Umm, Bobby Charles? No one advocating for choice is denying that the fetus is human. What we advocate for is that the person who is pregnant gets to control their own body. That means the right to choose to not get pregnant. That means the right to terminate an unintended pregnancy. That means the right to terminate a wanted pregnancy if something has gone wrong. That means the right to carry to term and have a child. It means the right to CHOOSE. The fact that the fetus is human is not relevant.

Side note: Bobby Charles? What the fuck are you doing in Maine? That name is better suited to Alabama.

regmeyer's avatar

To most rethuglikkkan choose is a four letter word.

Mark B's avatar

Can we please retire the phrase “falsely claimed” and say “lied” instead?

Troublesh00ter's avatar

Oh, but saying "He LIED" isn't politically correct! 😖

Kathlyn's avatar

Bullshitted - covers all bases, often from great height

Joe King's avatar

Committed mendacity.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

Let's just call a spade a spade here. Charlie LIED. Full stop.

I'm with George Carlin on this one. We need to quit with the euphemisms and speak in plain English. All the euphemisms have done is obscure and mess things up.

Would Chucko the Christian Clown care to open his bible and show us where it says that abortion is forbidden?

We, on the other hand, can point to scripture depicting the bible's god, its armies, its followers and its priests freely practicing abortion.

Troublesh00ter's avatar

And we can do that by the Numbers! [ar-ar!]

Troublesh00ter's avatar

SOMEBODY had to say it! 😁

Val Uptuous NotAgain's avatar

So, we are going to ignore the herd animals that were brought into the ark in groups of seven? Wouldn’t there be an opportunity for more genders there?

Not to mention that the Bible talks about natural eunuchs and other situations that could be interpreted into LGBTQ people.

Stephen Brady's avatar

There used to be a lot of eunuchs and barren women because they had the misfortune to contract Mumps at the wrong stage of life.

wreck's avatar

"he’s offering voters a platform built entirely on misinformation and bigotry"

And stupidity. Our three weapons are...

Tinker's avatar

He claims to know what it's like to make the decision to abort a fetus. It's like he's talking from experience. Someone should look into his background because he sounds like any other Republican whose platform starts with hypocrisy.

Val Uptuous NotAgain's avatar

Sounds like someone else we know.

NOGODZ20's avatar

Whoever could THAT be, I wonder. ;)

Troublesh00ter's avatar

Let's say it out loud: Charles is a LOON. It's pretty clear that he thinks the bible is THE source book for EVERYTHING and that he is Yahweh's gift to the pro-forced-birth community. His bit with the furries is hardly worth mentioning; that was debunked ages ago. Doesn't change the fact that he's running for GOVERNOR of Maine, and there isn't an idea he has espoused as documented in this piece that isn't BATSHIT CRAZY.

Oh, and as to that whole abortion thing: do you think we can get ol, Charlie together with Gloria Steinem? 😁

Len Koz's avatar

Hemant really needs to abort this nanny bot.

I wish politicians would stop talking about subjects as if they were experts in it.

"I wish politicians would stop talking about subjects as if they were experts in it."

I’d like to see Christians do the same.

I have to wonder what the RNC thinks about this raft of lunatic candidates crawling out of the woodwork. Maybe every election cycle sees this, but I don't remember it being this batshit crazy.

Joe King's avatar

Der OrangeFührer's approval ratings are so low the only ones left that want to associate with him are the batshit crazy ones.

I have been shocked and dismayed at how many people fit that description.
