He didn't even try to conceal his identity.

The Public Religion Research Institute shows promise of a nation more accepting of LGBTQ people. Their 2020 American Values Survey shows white evangelicals, while by far the most vocal, are actually in the minority when it comes to withholding equality.
Surely everyone has heard of the new “free speech” app Parler by now. It’s the app everyone SAYS they’ll be using soon, but they never will, because trolling libs is more important to them than talking to each other. It’s like Twitter, but for right-wing nuts who don’t understand that “free speech” is not freedom from consequences of speech.
Take Lang Holland, an Arkansas police chief, for example. Holland took to Parler advocating “death to all” Democrats, saying to “smash [their] homes and properties,” and to “Throw water on them at restaurants. Push them off sidewalks.” That’s a lot of criminal activity being promoted by a man whose job it is to protect citizens. What’s surprising is how poorly he hid his identity. Once word got out, it wasn’t long before Holland resigned.
Have you wondered why so many conservative Christians could back Trump even though he violates all their self-proclaimed values? This thread offers some tough-to-read insight:
Michele Bachmann wants God to do what with His iron rod?
Little is shocking when it comes to child sexual abuse in the Catholic church, but this newly-released Vatican internal report deserves your attention. It implicates Pope John Paul II (and, to a lesser extent, the two popes after him) for embracing Theodore McCarrick long before he became the first Catholic cardinal to be defrocked for sexually abusing boys. The popes knew of the allegations but turned a blind eye.
“Pope John Paul II personally made the decision to appoint McCarrick,” the report says, despite receiving a letter from Cardinal John O’Connor, the archbishop of New York, that summed up allegations, some anonymous, that Mr. McCarrick had engaged in sexual conduct with another priest in 1987, that he had committed pedophilia with his “nephews” and that he shared a bed with young adult men and seminarians.
Hold. The. Phone. Kris Vallotton of Bethel Church in California, a preacher who prophesied Trump would win re-election, made an apology video for being wrong.
Bravo, truly! We admire people who accept their faults and learn from th… oh wait. He deleted this video… which is why it’s being shared on Twitter by someone else.
Vallotton has since posted on Instagram saying he’s going to “wait until the official vote count is complete.” If he’s still wrong, he says he will “repost [the] apology video.” Which means he’ll repost the apology video because WE KNOW HOW THE ELECTION ENDS ALREADY.
Christian Right activist and conspiracy theorist Mark Taylor warns Christians who voted for Biden that they’ve cursed their families for generations by “… implementing the dark agenda. Satan’s agenda. The kingdom of darkness.”
You’ve got to wonder if he’s confusing “cursed” with having affordable healthcare, renewable energy, and equal rights. We’ve extended Halloween for another month just so we can have more fun with Kenneth Copeland’s diabolical laugh.
Finally, a message about what Trump’s white evangelical backers have done to Christianity:
Some stains are permanent. My coworker isn’t a religious person. Today she asked me about @Paula_White and Trumps spirituality advisors. After some giggles, she says “No wonder so many people in America don’t believe in or trust Christians and religion.” And that’s the stain we have to work to remove now.Jarran Sainsbury @JarranSainsbury
